Albedo is the Guardian Overseer of the Great Tomb of Nazarick in Overlord. She is deeply in love with Ainz Ooal Gown and is one of the most powerful NPCs.
Overview
Albedo is the Overseer of the Floor Guardians in Overlord, Kugane Maruyama's light-novel series animated by Madhouse from 2015. A succubus created by a player of the game YGGDRASIL, she becomes a real being when the game's final day leaves Ainz Ooal Gown trapped in a new world as the last ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.
Just before the transition, Ainz jokingly rewrites her settings so that she is in love with him, and she spends the series devoted to him with alarming intensity. In battle she wears black full plate armour and fights with a bardiche, and she manages Nazarick's administration and its internal rivalries, particularly with Shalltear Bloodfallen.
Albedo's blend of elegance, obsessive jealousy and ruthlessness toward humans made her the most recognizable of the Nazarick guardians. She is voiced by Yumi Hara in Japanese and Elizabeth Maxwell in English.
