花垣武道
Takemichi is the protagonist who travels back in time to save his ex-girlfriend and change the future of the Tokyo Manji Gang.
Overview
Takemichi Hanagaki is the protagonist of Tokyo Revengers. A twenty-six-year-old part-timer with no prospects, he learns that his middle-school girlfriend Hinata Tachibana has been killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang, and after being pushed in front of a train he finds himself twelve years in the past.
Shaking hands with Hinata's brother Naoto lets him jump between the two eras, and Takemichi uses this to infiltrate Toman, befriend Mikey and Draken and change the events that lead to Hinata's death. He is weak and cries often, but refuses to give up no matter how many times he is beaten.
Takemichi's ordinariness sets him apart from most shonen leads, and his tearful determination is the emotional core of the series. He is voiced by Yuki Shin in Japanese and A.J. Beckles in English.
