Shion
シオン
Shion is a purple-haired ogre who serves as Rimuru's secretary and bodyguard, known for her terrible cooking.
Overview
Shion is one of Rimuru Tempest's secretaries and bodyguards in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. One of the ogres saved and named by Rimuru, she becomes a kijin with tremendous physical strength and a great sword, serving as the leader of Rimuru's personal guard.
Shion is loyal, hot-headed and famously incapable of cooking edible food, a running joke throughout the series. Her death during the attack on Tempest by the Falmuth army and her resurrection, which triggers Rimuru's awakening as a true Demon Lord, is the emotional peak of the second season.
Her tall, striking design and affectionate devotion made her a popular figure in the franchise. She is voiced by M.A.O in Japanese and Mallorie Rodak in English.
