Overview
Orihime Inoue is one of the central characters of Bleach and a classmate and friend of Ichigo Kurosaki. Kind, spacey and known for bizarre food combinations, she lives alone after the death of her older brother Sora, whose Hollow form is the first major threat Ichigo faces.
Her power, Shun Shun Rikka, manifests as six fairy-like spirits from her hairpins, letting her create shields, attack and reject events entirely, effectively healing any injury. This ability draws the attention of Sosuke Aizen, who has her abducted to Hueco Mundo, prompting the Arrancar arc rescue.
Orihime's devotion to Ichigo is one of the series' defining relationships, and in the epilogue they are married with a son, Kazui. She is voiced by Yuki Matsuoka in Japanese and Stephanie Sheh in English.
