Norman
ノーマン
Norman is one of the main characters of The Promised Neverland, the smartest child at Grace Field House who helps plan the escape.
Overview
Norman is one of the three lead children of The Promised Neverland. The most intelligent child at Grace Field House, he is calm, analytical and devoted to Emma, and it is he who joins her in discovering the truth about the orphanage and plans the escape.
In the first season Norman is shipped out before the escape, apparently to his death, in one of the anime's most affecting episodes. The manga and second season reveal that he survived, was experimented on at the Lambda facility and became the leader of a faction determined to exterminate the demons, putting him at odds with Emma's hopes for coexistence.
Norman's gentle appearance and ruthless strategic mind make him the most complex of the trio. He is voiced by Maaya Uchida in Japanese and Jeannie Tirado in English.
