Miyuki Shirogane
白銀御行
Miyuki Shirogane is the student council president at Shuchiin Academy. Despite coming from a poor family, he earned his position through hard work. He is in love with Kaguya but refuses to confess first.
Overview
Miyuki Shirogane is the student council president of Shuchiin Academy and the male lead of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War. A scholarship student from a struggling family, he keeps his top academic rank through relentless study and works part-time jobs to support his household, hiding his exhaustion behind an intimidating glare.
His rivalry-romance with Kaguya Shinomiya is the show's engine, and his refusal to confess first drives their psychological warfare. Running jokes include his terrible singing and volleyball skills, which Chika Fujiwara secretly trains out of him, and his dream to work at NASA.
Shirogane's earnestness makes him one of the more likeable romantic-comedy leads, and his eventual confession under the fireworks is a landmark scene of the series. He is voiced by Makoto Furukawa in Japanese and Aaron Dismuke in English.
