Meliodas
メリオダス
Meliodas is the protagonist of Seven Deadly Sins, the Dragon Sin of Wrath and captain of the Sins. Despite his childish appearance, he is incredibly powerful.
Overview
Meliodas is the Dragon's Sin of Wrath and captain of the Seven Deadly Sins in Nakaba Suzuki's manga and its anime adaptation. He runs the travelling tavern Boar Hat and appears to be a cheerful, lecherous boy, but he is in fact the eldest son of the Demon King and a warrior over three thousand years old.
His power Full Counter reflects magical attacks back at the caster with greater force, and his demon mark unleashes far darker strength. Cursed with immortality by the Demon King while Elizabeth is cursed to die and be reborn, he has watched her perish many times, a tragedy revealed over the course of the series.
Meliodas leads the search for the scattered Sins in the first season and later the war against the Ten Commandments and his own family. He is voiced by Yuki Kaji in Japanese and Bryce Papenbrook in English.
