Overview
Erza Scarlet is an S-Class mage of the Fairy Tail guild in Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail, animated by A-1 Pictures and Satelight from 2009. Known as Titania, the Fairy Queen, she is the guild's disciplinarian, feared by Natsu and Gray for her strictness but respected as one of its strongest members.
Her magic, Requip: The Knight, lets her instantly swap between dozens of armours and weapons, such as Heaven's Wheel and the Purgatory Armor. Her past as a child slave in the Tower of Heaven, which cost her an eye and separated her from Jellal Fernandes, is explored in one of the anime's most emotional arcs.
Erza's mixture of severity, awkward sweetness and unbreakable resolve has kept her at the top of Fairy Tail popularity polls. She is voiced by Sayaka Ohara in Japanese and Colleen Clinkenbeard in English.
