Stark
シュタルク
Stark is a warrior who joins Frieren's party. Despite his fear of fighting, he is incredibly skilled in combat.
Overview
Stark is a young warrior in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe's manga adapted by Madhouse in 2023. He was the apprentice of the axe-wielding warrior Eisen, a member of the Hero Party, and joins Frieren and Fern as their fighter on the journey north to Aureole.
Stark is a coward by his own admission, having fled his village during a demon attack, and he trembles before every fight. Despite this he possesses tremendous strength and technique, defeating a dragon and later Lügner's aide Linie with Eisen's Lightning Strike.
His bickering with Fern, his self-doubt and his slow acceptance of his own courage give him one of the series' warmest arcs. He is voiced by Yuya Kobayashi in Japanese and Alejandro Saab in English.
