Overview
Gyomei Himejima is the Stone Hashira and the strongest member of the Demon Slayer Corps in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. A blind giant who constantly weeps and prays, he carries a spiked flail and axe joined by a chain rather than a sword.
Before joining the Corps he cared for orphans at a temple until a demon attack killed most of them, an event for which he was wrongly blamed. He oversees the Hashira Training arc, where Tanjiro and others learn his stone-hauling regimen, and he is one of the few Hashira to awaken the Transparent World.
