Goblin Slayer
ゴブリンスレイヤー
Goblin Slayer is the protagonist, a stoic adventurer obsessed with exterminating goblins after they destroyed his village.
Overview
Goblin Slayer is the title character of Goblin Slayer, Kumo Kagyu's light-novel series adapted by White Fox in 2018. A silver-ranked adventurer who wears cheap, grimy armour and hunts only goblins, he is regarded as an eccentric by the guild despite years of experience.
As a child he watched goblins destroy his village and kill his sister, and he has devoted his life to exterminating them methodically, using traps, fire and any tool available. He gathers a party including the Priestess, the High Elf Archer, the Dwarf Shaman and the Lizard Priest, who gradually draw him out of his single-minded existence.
The series' brutal first episode and its pragmatic take on fantasy adventuring made Goblin Slayer notorious. He is voiced by Yuichiro Umehara in Japanese and Brad Hawkins in English.
