Endeavor is the No. 1 hero in My Hero Academia after All Might's retirement. Despite his power, he struggles with his past as an abusive father.
Overview
Endeavor, real name Enji Todoroki, is the long-time number-two hero in My Hero Academia and the father of Shoto Todoroki. His Quirk, Hellflame, gives him control over intense fire, and he holds the record for most villains resolved.
Obsessed with surpassing All Might, he entered a Quirk marriage with Rei Himura and subjected his children to brutal training, abuse that fractured his family and, unknown to him, produced the villain Dabi. After All Might's retirement he becomes the number-one hero and, in his fight with the High-End Nomu in Fukuoka, begins to earn the title.
Endeavor's attempt at atonement, the public exposure of his past and his role in the Paranormal Liberation War make him one of the series' most complicated figures. He is voiced by Tetsu Inada in Japanese and Patrick Seitz in English.
