"Waku waku!"

Anya's catchphrase of excitement, first heard in episode 1 when she learns Loid is a spy. The Japanese onomatopoeia for excitement became the series' most memed line.

"Anya likes this family."

Anya's plain answer during a fake 'kidnapping' Loid stages to test her in episode 5, in which he asks if she wants a different family. It stops Loid cold and marks the point where the fake family starts becoming real.

"A world where children don't have to cry. That's the kind of world I want to build."

Loid's stated reason for being a spy, recalled in episode 1 as he considers giving up on Anya. His memories of losing everything as a war orphan drive his mission for peace between Westalis and Ostania.

"I'm not sure how this is going to go, but I'll do my best to be a good father to you."

Loid's quiet promise to a sleeping Anya at the end of episode 1 after rescuing her from the Franky group's warehouse. It is the first crack in his purely mission-focused view of the family.

"Papa, are you a liar?"

Anya, who can read minds, asks Loid this in episode 1 after seeing the truth about his spy work in his thoughts. The question hangs over the whole series, since every member of the Forger family is lying.

"Heh. Elegance."

Housemaster Henry Henderson's obsession with elegance is introduced during the Forgers' Eden Academy interview in episode 4. His catchword recurs every time Anya's antics either meet or shatter his standards.

"As long as we're together, we'll make it through."

Yor's thought after accepting the marriage arrangement with Loid in episode 2, having spent the evening fighting off criminals together. It shows she wants the family for real even as she hides her assassin work.
